About the Role:

Nobia AB is seeking a skilled Maintenance and Engineering professional to join our team. As an Engineering and Maintenance Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to breakdowns and perform planned preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Coordinate engineering project support and maintain assembly/process machinery, as well as general site facilities such as heating and lighting.
  • Ensure a high standard of working environment and adherence to health, safety, and environmental requirements, including risk assessments and accident investigations.
  • Provide support with root cause analysis on major breakdowns and contribute to the development of maintenance strategies to prevent future issues.

Requirements:

  • Qualification to at least NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Experience in preventative maintenance activities and a good working knowledge of machine maintenance and operation, as well as computerized maintenance management systems.
  • Understanding of modern problem-solving techniques and knowledge of lean manufacturing systems.
  • Ability to work a 3-week rotating shift pattern, including early morning, afternoon, and night shifts.
