A Day in the Life

As a Reliability Maintenance Engineer at Amazon, you will be based on-site, allowing you to respond quickly to any equipment issues that arise. Your day will be filled with a range of planned preventative maintenance tasks, designed to ensure our equipment is working safely and efficiently. You will also have the opportunity to suggest long-term improvements and work closely with senior colleagues to undertake day-to-day maintenance tasks.

About the Team

Our Reliability Maintenance Engineering team is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment across our global network of fulfillment centers. We work together to install automated packaging systems, oversee general maintenance, and repair key distribution equipment. Our team often works during early or late hours to carry out maintenance with minimal disruption, including night shifts.

Requirements
  1. Served a full Engineering indentured apprenticeship and/or qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3 or equivalent in a relevant Engineering subject (City & Guilds Level 3, SVQ/IVQ).
  2. Relevant experience as a qualified engineer, with a strong background in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance.
  3. Advanced proficiency in the local language verbally and in writing.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Apprentice Trained, HNC, HND, BSc, BEng.
  2. Experience in condition-based monitoring.
  3. Experience working with print and apply machines.
  4. Experience in fault-finding and maintaining conveyor or automation systems.
