About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Representative to join our Plant and Tool division. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for maximising revenue opportunities from existing major account customers and winning new business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver sales presentations to major account customers at a senior management level
  • Attend depot/customer trade days to promote our product offering
  • Work with stakeholders across the GAP Group network to ensure pro-active promotion of hire opportunities
  • Meet and exceed sales targets, generating revenue growth through maximising opportunities from existing customers and winning new business
Requirements
  • Significant experience working in an area sales role within the construction/hire industry
  • Proven track record in exceeding sales targets and generating revenue growth
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Effective negotiator and problem solver, with the ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload
  • Proficient in MS Office packages, including Excel and Word, and CRM systems
  • Driving Licence (Essential)
