Leonardo is seeking a seasoned product security expert to lead our security efforts within the Customer Support and Service Solutions (CS3) line of business.

The CS3 division operates across the UK, providing innovative support solutions to our customers, ensuring front-line capability availability.

We are looking for a highly experienced security professional with expertise in developing and maintaining robust product security management systems for defence and government customers.

The Product Security Architect will be responsible for overseeing all security aspects of product design, development, verification, and maintenance through all lifecycle phases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide security guidance and support to product development teams, including deriving security requirements, undertaking security risk assessments, and preparing security risk mitigation plans
  • Monitor security policies and produce Line of Business (LoB) security metrics
  • Lead security incident management teams during crisis situations

The Product Security Architect will have authority in the Design Integrity function, overseeing security process maintenance, security competence framework, and assessment of security competence.

Key Requirements:

  • Must have experience in developing security risk management systems for various products and services
  • Familiarity with relevant legislation and information assurance standards
  • Practical experience with security evaluation techniques and incident investigation
  • Ability to deliver training and raise awareness on product security
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
