Sales Office Manager

Job Summary:
The Sales Office Manager will be responsible for leading the internal sales team at our regional distribution centre, ensuring sales activities are maximised to help the site exceed all sales and profit targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead the internal sales team, setting targets and objectives, and completing performance and development assessments.
- Oversee all sales administration processing to ensure completed in a timely and efficient manner, utilising the relevant systems.
- Complete relevant reports to required timescales, to monitor sales input, invoicing, and margin.
- Take an active lead in developing existing accounts, seeking and capitalising upon opportunities to up-sell across the product portfolio.
- Work in partnership with external sales executives, attending customer visits where appropriate.
Requirements:
- Experience of managing a small team within a fast-paced environment.
- Genuine gravitas and leadership skills.
- First-class customer service and internal sales skills.
- Ability to reside within a sensible daily commute of our local site.
- Comfortable with a temporary contract role for 12 months initially.
