Apprentice Building Surveyor

Morrison Energy Services is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial Team in Scotland, working on the Scottish Power Energy Networks (SPEN) contract.
Key Responsibilities- Administer and manage respective entitlements and obligations under the main contract and sub-contracts.
- Manage contract records and assist in the administration of sub-contract payments.
- Negotiate subcontract variations and monitor and reconcile contra-charge accounts.
- Collate accurate information for monthly cost/value reconciliations and contract reviews.
- Audit, agree, and reconcile measurements against systemised actuals.
- Generate weekly cost/value reports and target cost reports.
- Agree on Final Accounts for all Diversion schemes.
- Produce financial and statistical reports as required.
- Perform any reasonable task requested by line managers.
- Provide close liaison and assistance to operational and support staff.
Significant experience in a similar role is essential. A Degree in Quantity Surveying or a relevant business discipline is preferred, but non-degree holders with extensive experience in similar roles will be considered. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, numeracy skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, are required. A UK Driving Licence is also necessary.
