About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Hospital Concierge Officer to provide an exceptional welcome service to patients, consultants, and visitors at Cromwell Hospital in London.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the first point of contact for all visitors, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience.
  • Utilize scheduling software to identify patient and visitor requirements, facilitating next steps and ensuring seamless transitions.
  • Log patient arrivals onto the hospital system, monitoring patient flow and managing delays or wait times effectively.
  • Direct patients and visitors to the correct hospital departments, providing clear instructions and support.
  • Provide room orientation for daycase and inpatient arrivals, ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience.
  • Stay up-to-date with recommended taxi services and hotels to support hospital visitors.
  • Assist international patients with inquiries, liaising with the hospital's international patient centre to secure interpreters.
  • Liaise with housekeeping, cleaning, and groundskeeping staff to maintain safety and cleanliness standards.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in delivering exceptional customer service in a private healthcare or luxury hospitality environment.
  • Front of House/Reception experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, including conflict resolution.
  • Passion for the patient journey.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an empathetic nature.
  • Ability to interact with IT scheduling systems while maintaining high personal interaction with patients.
  • Self-motivated and proactive problem-solving skills.
  • IT Literacy.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
