Job Title: Registered Home Manager - Supported Living

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Home Manager to lead our domiciliary care home in Colchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership, governance, and management to ensure the delivery of high-quality holistic care, maintaining high levels of occupancy, and compliance with CQC and other regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and governance to the care home team to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
  • Maintain high levels of occupancy and compliance with CQC and other regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with the care team to ensure seamless and cost-effective working practices.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the quality of care and services.
  • Manage and motivate staff to achieve high levels of performance and productivity.
  • Ensure effective communication and documentation practices.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of the care home and make recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a manager role within the healthcare industry.
  • Knowledge of health and social care practices and regulations.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communicator, an active listener, and good documentation.
  • Empathetic, dedicated, and compassionate for customers and their families.
  • Proficiency in using computer software for scheduling and record-keeping.
  • Strong ability to learn, resilient, and adaptable to new challenges.
