Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for managing a work-queue, securing purchase orders, and ensuring close cooperation with internal customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of suppliers, negotiate price increase requests, prepare RFQ packs, run bidding processes, and conduct negotiations for medium purchasing volumes.
- Contribute to the implementation and ensure usage of globally defined methods, processes, and systems to ensure high process efficiency and process compliance.
- Support supplier management processes, including qualification, selection, evaluation, development, classification, and update supplier evaluation systems.
- Maintain records of all documentation, adherence to online purchasing and contract management systems.
- Perform special projects as needed in addition to assigned purchasing responsibilities.
Requirements
- Strong SAP experience.
- Outstanding Excel skills.
- 2+ years of experience in direct procurement.
- Team player with the ability to work independently to meet fixed deadlines, goals, and objectives.
- Ability to work in a complex, fast-changing global organizational environment.
- Bachelor's degree.
