Specialist Lending Manager

We are seeking an experienced lending professional to join our team as a Specialist Lending Manager. Our client is a leading mortgage business based in Essex, with a strong industry reputation for supporting and developing highly skilled and knowledgeable Mortgage Advisers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of specialist lending advisers, ensuring they provide high-quality advice and information to mortgage brokers and their clients.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance and achieve sales targets.
- Collaborate with lenders to ensure the quality of case submissions and maintain current product knowledge.
- Ensure customers receive fair treatment and good customer outcomes from the team.
- Achieve personal KPIs and contribute to the growth and success of the business.
Requirements
- Previous experience with Packager / Master Broker.
- Strong knowledge of specialist markets, including Commercial Mortgages, Bridging Finance, Development Finance, Second Charges, and Complex residential and BTL.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
- Good working knowledge of IT systems relevant to the job role.
- Prioritizes effectively, ensuring deadlines are met, and makes confident, effective decisions within the scope of the job role.
