About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Specialist Lending Manager to join our team at MaxAd Fixed Fee Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a team of specialist lending advisers, ensuring they provide high-quality advice and information to mortgage brokers and their clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coach and support team members to achieve consistently high levels of activity and sales targets.
  • Develop the team and individual advisers to broaden their product specialisms and improve performance.
  • Liaise with lenders to ensure the quality of case submissions and product knowledge is current and of the highest expertise.
  • Ensure customers are treated fairly and receive good customer outcomes from the team.
  • Achieve personal KPIs and contribute to the growth and success of the business.
Requirements
  • Previous experience with Packager/Master Broker and specialist markets such as Commercial Mortgages, Bridging Finance, Development Finance, Second Charges, and Complex residential and BTL.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
  • Good working knowledge of IT systems relevant to the job role.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively, meet deadlines, and make confident decisions within the scope of the job role.
  • Experience in coaching and developing team members, with a focus on continuous improvement and self-development.
