About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Mental Health Teaching Assistant to join our team at a specialist school near Farnham. The successful candidate will work with students aged 10-16 who require support with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

The ideal candidate will be a strong role model, committed to building positive relationships with students, and knowledgeable about mental health. Experience working with SEN children and/or adults is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students with SEMH needs in a classroom setting
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, staff, and parents
  • Contribute to the development of individualized support plans for students
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills
Requirements
