Paramedic Functional Assessor Role

Are you a Paramedic looking for a new challenge that leverages your clinical skills in a different way? We're seeking experienced Paramedics to join our team as Functional Assessors, working with individuals who have a range of physical and/or mental health conditions.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Conduct holistic assessments with individuals to understand the impact of their disabilities on their daily lives
  • Interpret medical evidence and gather findings to support decision-making by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP)
  • Work autonomously and use IT systems to complete assessments and reports
Requirements:
  • NMC or HCPC registration is required
  • At least 1 year's broad post-registration experience in the UK
  • Proactive, keen to learn, and receptive to feedback
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
