About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Paramedic to join our team as a Functional Assessor. As a Paramedic Functional Assessor, you will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments of individuals with various physical and mental health conditions to determine their eligibility for the Personal Independence Payment (PIP) benefit scheme.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals with diverse health conditions to understand the impact of their disabilities on their daily lives.
  • Work from home and in an assessment centre to complete assessments, gathering medical evidence and writing comprehensive reports to support the decision-making process.
  • Interpret medical evidence and gather findings to support the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) decision-making process.
Requirements
  • NMC or HCPC registration is required.
  • At least 1 year's broad post-registration experience and UK experience is essential.
  • Proactive, keen to learn, and receptive to feedback.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and I.T competency is a must-have.
