Job Title: Paramedic Functional Assessor

We are seeking a skilled Paramedic to join our team as a Functional Assessor, where you will play a vital role in assessing individuals with physical and/or mental health conditions to determine their eligibility for the Personal Independence Payment (PIP) benefit scheme.

About the Role:

As a Paramedic Functional Assessor, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments with individuals, gathering information about their health conditions and how they impact their daily lives. You will interpret medical evidence, gather your findings, and compile a comprehensive report to support the decision-making process by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments with individuals, using your clinical expertise to understand their health conditions and how they affect their daily lives.
  • Interpret medical evidence and gather your findings to compile a comprehensive report.
  • Work autonomously, using your IT skills to complete assessments and reports.
Requirements:
  • NMC or HCPC registration is required.
  • At least 1 year's broad post-registration experience, with UK experience being essential.
  • Proactive, keen to learn, and receptive to feedback.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
