Nursery Teaching Assistant Role

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Teaching Assistant to join our team at Step Teachers. As a key member of our education support staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of engaging lessons and providing personalized support to students who require additional assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support classroom activities and assist teachers in delivering effective learning strategies.
  • Provide one-on-one support and offer tailored help to students who may require additional assistance.
  • Collaborate closely with other staff members to implement effective learning strategies and support plans.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere, promoting understanding and empathy among students and staff.
  • Support the development of a rich and varied curriculum that inspires students to achieve their true potential.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or a related field.
  • A compassionate and patient demeanor, with a genuine desire to support the needs of others.
  • Experience working as a Nursery Teaching Assistant or in a related role.
  • SEN experience is desirable.
