We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Transformation Leader to join our team at News UK. Key Responsibilities- Oversee the development and implementation of our digital strategy, ensuring alignment with our business goals and objectives.
- Lead a team of digital content creators, developers, and analysts, working collaboratively with other departments to deliver compelling and interactive content across all digital platforms.
- Edit stories to ensure the highest standard of presentation, particularly in headlines, pictures, and video, to maximise traffic and dwell time.
- Work with editorial colleagues across our integrated newsroom for fresh lines, particularly on large live and breaking stories.
- Manage online news operation, audience teams, and audio/video departments.
- Work collaboratively with internal departments, including commercial and marketing.
- Interpret analytics to report to colleagues and the wider business on a regular basis.
- Maintain an excellent relationship and seeking opportunities with the online, audience, sport, tech, and video teams across the whole of News Corp.
- Digital experience on a fast-paced national news platform.
- Experience in managing and leading high-performance teams.
- Expert in SEO, social media, and digital news delivery.
- Experience of video production, commission, and knowledge of emerging platforms.
- In-depth knowledge of analytics and ability to interpret data and implement new strategies.
- Keen awareness of the digital media environment, trends, and audience behaviours.
- Skilled in creating commercially viable editorial projects and initiatives.
- Understanding of News UK DNA and how it translates to digital platforms.
- Fully aware of legal issues, the Editors' Code of Practice, and IPSO standards.
