Compliance UK Partner Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance UK Partner to join our team at Airswift. As a key member of our compliance function, you will be responsible for ensuring adherence to regulatory standards in areas such as integrity, criminal prevention, money laundering, and more.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Compliance function in the UK, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and overseeing the implementation of formal compliance models.
  • Advise UK businesses on legal compliance matters, including integrity, criminal prevention, money laundering, terrorist financing, international sanctions, personal data protection, antitrust, and due diligence with third parties.
  • Establish expert legal judgment on compliance matters as required and implement and update formal compliance models according to regulators' expectations and company standards.
  • Conduct specific risk assessments to identify gaps and issue recommendations, and assume the role of Privacy Champion for the UK, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations.
  • Promote ethics and compliance culture through training and communication initiatives, and coordinate planning process with Audit and Internal Control.
  • Conduct specific supervision projects and monitor KPIs to prevent risks and assess the effectiveness of our models, and report to local administrative and management bodies of compliance aspects.
  • Attend compliance requirements to partners, regulators, or competent authorities as necessary, and report to Corporate Compliance, keeping timely updated on the achievement of established milestones.
Requirements:
  • Experience of 5 or more years in compliance and regulatory affairs.
  • Experience in project management and/or participation in cross-cutting projects.
  • Knowledge of local and international compliance regulations such as FCPA, UK Bribery Act, OFAC, etc.
  • Knowledge of the macroeconomic and regulatory environment.
  • Proficiency in English (proficiency in Spanish is valued).
  • Advanced level proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law or other related certifications.
