Technical Compliance Specialist

The Technical Compliance Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the corporate objectives of NHS Scotland are achieved, with a specific focus on the provision of safe and compliant premises and equipment.

As the focal point for assurance relating to Hard FM services compliance, the post holder will be responsible for monitoring, inspecting, and reporting on legislation, standards, delivery, and risk compliance.

The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of CAFM / CMMS systems, excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to demonstrate evidence of our organisational 'values and behaviours'.

The post holder will be responsible for reviewing and maintaining the Estates Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) systems consistently, ensuring that all Hard FM services are compliant with relevant legislation and standards.

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level in business or technical management, or have demonstrable equivalent experience in the management of compliance in a technical environment.

The role requires a professional attitude, a passion for working within the wider healthcare team, and a commitment to continuous learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and report on legislation, standards, delivery, and risk compliance of Hard FM services
  • Review and maintain the Estates Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) systems
  • Ensure all Hard FM services are compliant with relevant legislation and standards
  • Provide expert knowledge of CAFM / CMMS systems
  • Develop and implement compliance strategies to ensure safe and compliant premises and equipment

Requirements:
