Bar Staff Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by serving all customers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Ensure guests receive the highest standard of service at all times.
  • Provide expert advice on all products available within the venue.
  • Promote a welcoming atmosphere within the venue.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to meet guests' needs.
  • Maintain stock levels and rotation to avoid waste and assist with stocktaking.
  • Ensure the work area is adequately stocked with necessary items.
  • Lay up and prepare restaurants/boxes for meal service.
  • Serve guests efficiently with correct food and beverage service knowledge.
  • Service wine and other drinks as directed by management.
  • Keep work and public areas clean and tidy.
  • Ensure all orders are dispensed and correctly recorded.
  • Follow company procedures for tills and payment.
  • Adhere to licensing policies and procedures.
  • Handle cash, stock, and equipment securely.
  • Act as an information point for customers.
  • Record wastage and dispose of rubbish accordingly.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
