Data Scientist for High-Resolution Soil Mapping

We are seeking a skilled Data Scientist to contribute to the HiRes-Soils project at Farm B's premises in Lincoln, UK. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-resolution maps of soil carbon and GHG emissions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Integrate data from APIs to support predictive modeling and analytics efforts.
  • Develop spatial analysis techniques to enhance understanding of soil dynamics.
About You
  1. You hold a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Agricultural Engineering.
  2. Proficient in English (written and spoken) for non-native speakers.
  3. Experience with Python libraries like Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, and Matplotlib.
  4. A background in predictive modeling, machine learning, and statistical analysis.
  5. Familiarity with API integration for data retrieval and processing.
  6. Ability to adapt to varying development environments.

  • Masters degree in relevant field.

  • Experience working with diverse physical objects.
