Job OverviewWe are looking for talented scientists and engineers with experience in research and collaboration to join us at Leonardo. As a Research Scientist - Advanced Technology Specialist, you will bridge the gap between theoretically possible and practically implementable solutions in real systems.
Estimated Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 per annumKey Responsibilities:- Contribute or lead early concept studies investigating new types of algorithms to improve threat detection at range
- Support the development and implementation of data fusion across multiple sensor types
- Develop simulators used in supporting test and validation of processing solutions
You will have a PhD, EngD or other relevant research experience within a Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths subject. We would be interested in hearing from you if you also have experience of collaborating with others, a drive for continuously improving your own skills and knowledge, and a methodical approach to solving large complex problems.
