Sales Support Coordinator

Vertex IT Solutions Ltd is seeking a Sales Support Administrator to provide administrative support to the field sales organisation.
This role involves direct communication with operational contacts within the customer base, providing a day-to-day commercial contact for customers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Understanding customer requirements and generating quotes
- Processing orders and initiating orders for equipment
- Managing minor escalations through to the Customer Service team
- Maintaining customer details in Salesforce
- Assisting field sales with scheduling client visits
- General administrative duties
Requirements:
- Experience in a sales environment or customer services environment
- Knowledge of IT products and services
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build rapport and working relationships with customers and colleagues
