As a Plastering Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering vocational training to small groups of learners, helping them to achieve their qualifications and gain employment in the construction industry.

The role requires enthusiasm, resilience, and a humanistic approach, as you will be working with learners who may have complex needs and challenges.

The prison education department is a dedicated and supportive team, with fully functioning workshops and classrooms where teaching and learning can take place.

You will be fully supported by the education department, with training and development opportunities available to help you grow and develop in your role.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering vocational training to small groups of learners
  • Assessing learner progress and providing feedback
  • Working closely with the education department to ensure effective delivery of the curriculum
  • Participating in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
