Location: Newmarket - Centre based

Salary: Up to £34,000 (Depending on skills and experience)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Plastering Tutor to join our team at KM Recruitment. As a Plastering Tutor, you will be responsible for teaching and assessing learners working towards a vocational qualification in Plastering.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality training sessions to learners, ensuring they meet the required standards.
  • Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback to improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Monitor student attendance and progress, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Provide guidance and support to learners, helping them make informed decisions about their career progression.
  • Embed Maths and English skills into training sessions, ensuring learners develop a strong foundation in these essential subjects.
Requirements:
  • Hold a recognized Teaching or Assessing qualification.
  • Have solid occupational experience in Plastering, with a minimum of a Level 2 qualification.
  • Be able to deliver training to groups of learners or provide on-the-job training within the workplace.
  • Hold GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade C or above, or Functional Skills equivalents.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills, with the ability to plan and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Be confident and professional, with the ability to inspire and motivate learners.
