Job Title: Plastering Tutor (Trainee or Qualified)

Are you a skilled plasterer looking to share your expertise with others? Do you have a passion for teaching and mentoring? We are seeking a qualified Plastering Tutor to join our team at KM Education Recruitment Ltd.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Plastering Tutor to deliver high-quality training to learners. As a Plastering Tutor, you will be responsible for teaching and assessing learners working towards a vocational qualification in Plastering. You will need to be able to overcome barriers to learning and adapt your delivery to meet the needs of individual learners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality training to learners working towards a vocational qualification in Plastering.
  • Assess learner progress and provide feedback to improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of individual learners.
  • Monitor learner attendance and progress through regular student assessment and reviews.
  • Provide advice and guidance to learners relating to decision making and progression.
  • Embedding of Maths and English into sessions.
Requirements:
  • Hold a recognised Teaching or Assessing qualification.
  • Must hold solid, occupational experience within Plastering.
  • Hold a level 2 as a minimum within Plastering.
  • Ideally have experience of delivering training/workshops to groups of learners - or providing on-the-job training within the workplace.
  • Must hold own GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade C or above / Functional Skills equivalents.
  • Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
  • Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
