About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Business Solutions Specialist to join our team at Morris Sinclair Recruitment Ltd. As a Technical Business Solutions Specialist, you will play a key role in helping our clients achieve their business objectives by providing expert technical and business analysis services.

Key Responsibilities
  • System SME and Operational Support: Provide operational knowledge support to the project team to determine, implement, and test requirements.
  • Requirements Gathering and Documentation: Work with customers to understand their requirements and help to translate them into formal software change documents.
  • Functional Requirements and Product Roadmap Development: Work with Product Owner(s) and Project Manager(s) to formalise functional requirements and product roadmap development.
  • Business Process Mapping: Provide business process mapping support to ensure that business processes are well-defined and documented.
  • System Configuration and Testing: Configure the system(s) to meet the needs of specific user requirements and work with development and testing team(s) to ensure functional changes meet business needs.
  • User Guides and Training: Ensure user guides, process documents, and training materials are up to date and provide systems training to external users and internal stakeholders.
  • Issue Resolution and Client Support: Assist with issue resolution and client support to ensure that clients receive high-quality service.
Requirements
  • Logical Thinking and Problem-Solving Skills: Able to think logically and utilise good problem-solving skills to resolve complex technical and business issues.
  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of UK pensions and investments is essential.
  • System Thinking: System thinker with a desire to understand how systems work and how they can be improved.
  • Self-Motivation and Professional Development: Self-motivated approach to professional and personal development, with a desire to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with clients and stakeholders.
  • Experience in Change Environment: Experience of working within a change environment, with the ability to adapt to new technologies and processes.
  • Desirable Skills: Experience of working on calculation-based products would be desirable.
