We are seeking a talented Digital Transformation Lead to join Women's Aid, a leading charity working to end domestic abuse.

Reporting to the Director of Fundraising and Communications, this role is responsible for delivering Refuge's digital engagement and mobilisation work. You will lead a team of six, collaborating with colleagues across Fundraising, Communications, and Policy to drive organisational growth and impact.

The successful candidate will develop and implement a Digital Engagement and Mobilisation Strategy, driving sustainable growth and value for Refuge. They will leverage their expertise in digital tactics, including social media, email, website, content, paid media, and analysis, to inform programme performance improvements.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled digital specialist to utilise their technical and leadership skills to make a real impact on Refuge's work.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Digital Engagement and Mobilisation Strategy, aligning with organisational goals
  • Lead a team of six, providing guidance and support to ensure effective execution of digital projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance programme performance through data-driven insights
  • Analyse and optimise digital campaigns, ensuring maximum ROI and impact
  • Prioritise emerging trends and technologies to stay ahead of the curve in digital engagement and mobilisation

In order to succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Substantial experience in developing and delivering digital strategies to mobilise the public, recruit supporters, grow income, and deepen engagement
  • Demonstrable knowledge of digital engagement theory, principles, and best practices
  • Proven track record of implementing effective digital mobilisation campaigns, resulting in significant growth and impact
  • Ability to think critically, strategically, and creatively, leveraging digital tools and channels to achieve organisational objectives
  • Familiarity with digital analytics tools and platforms, with a keen eye for detail and ability to interpret complex data sets

We offer a competitive salary of £55,009 per annum, commensurate with experience. This role is full-time, permanent, and based remotely, with occasional requirements to work from our Head Office (Vauxhall) or other locations due to business need.
