Job Title: Paramedic

Swan Medical Centre is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paramedic to join our team. As a Paramedic, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical centre.

Job Summary

The Paramedic will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide patient care, advise on general healthcare, and promote self-management. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Paramedicine, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care and advice on general healthcare
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Advise patients on self-management and signpost to relevant services
  • Perform specialist health checks and reviews within scope of practice
  • Collect pathological specimens and perform investigatory procedures as required
  • Support the delivery of anticipatory care plans and lead certain services
  • Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate and contemporaneous health records
Requirements
  • Degree in Paramedic Science or equivalent
  • Professional registration with HCPC and no current issues under investigation
  • Driving Licence
  • Mentoring and coaching experience
  • Knowledge of NICE guidelines and legal and ethical issues
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
