We are seeking a qualified Educational Wellbeing Practitioner (EWP) to join our innovative and friendly Emotional Health Service within our established schools program team. This part-time position involves undertaking assessments and delivering low-intensity CBT interventions in both one-on-one and group settings within schools.

Please note that this is a part-time position, therefore the salary will be pro-rated accordingly.

About the Team

This position is part of the CAMHS Trailblazer Mental Health Support Teams (MHST) in Kingston, established since September 2019. The trailblazer team comprises four Educational Wellbeing Practitioners (EWPs), two Band 6 CAMHS Practitioners, one Band 7 Mental Health Clinician, and a part-time Clinical Lead.

The MHST collaborates with a cluster of primary and secondary schools, encompassing a combined student population of 8,000. They work alongside schools and cluster leaders to implement a holistic approach to mental health based on the needs highlighted in the cluster action plan. In Kingston, we prioritize reducing health inequalities within our BAME community and addressing depression and anxiety among school pupils.
