Bright Horizons Kew Day Nursery and Preschool is a 66-place nursery proudly Ofsted rated 'Good'. Our nursery features bright, colourful rooms tailored for each age group and a fantastic outdoor space for the children to explore.

Job Summary

We are seeking a full-time, Level 3 qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, creating, and implementing engaging activities for children, promoting their development towards key milestones.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement engaging activities tailored to each child's needs
  • Develop and maintain strong parent/ carer partnerships
  • Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health, and safety, and safeguarding
  • Work with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy, and safe environment

Requirements

  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
  • Previous experience working with children (ideally as a Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, or similar)
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
  • Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with colleagues and parents
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children
