An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Specialist Pharmacist to join the pulmonary rehabilitation team in Swansea Bay University Health Board. The successful candidate will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of the service.
Main Responsibilities- Manage a complex clinical caseload, providing specialist nutrition and dietetic advice to the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Team.
- Work independently with patients, using highly developed communication skills to negotiate, counsel, and implement behavioral change therapy.
- Plan, implement, and evaluate evidence-based Nutrition and Dietetic interventions.
- Provide expert advice on nutrition support and weight management for respiratory outpatients and at home, liaising with Respiratory consultants and specialist Respiratory Nurses.
- B.Sc. Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent qualification.
- Post-registration training in a relevant area.
- HCPC Registered.
- Experience of working as a Specialist Dietitian in Nutrition and Dietetics within a specialist area.
- Experience of supervising and mentoring staff.
