About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Cedar Lodge, a leading care home in Henley-in-Arden. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, enabling them to live their lives to the fullest.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire a team of care assistants to deliver high-quality care and support to residents.
  • Support residents with personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist residents with daily activities, such as meals, medication, and mobility.
  • Administer medication and maintain accurate records.
  • Develop and implement care plans to meet the individual needs of residents.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.

Requirements:

  • Minimum NVQ level 2 or equivalent in health and social care.
  • Previous experience in care or a related field.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to care.
