We are seeking highly skilled and dedicated individuals to join our Board of Governors at Educators Wales. As a member of our governing body, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our institution and contributing to the education and wellbeing of our learners.

About the Role

The Board of Governors is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the College and ensuring that it delivers its mission and values. As a member of the Board, you will be expected to:

  • Support the College in its student and community activities, including attendance at ceremonial and presentational events.
  • Contribute to the development of the College's strategic plans and policies.
  • Provide guidance and oversight on key areas such as education, audit, and risk management.
  • Engage with the College's stakeholders, including learners, staff, and the wider community.
Requirements

We are looking for individuals with a strong background in education, governance, or a related field. You should have a proven track record of leadership and strategic thinking, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also need to be able to commit to attending regular Board meetings and participating in other College activities.
