Support Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at People Plus Independent Living Services.
Location: Lockleaze area of Bristol
About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity for a Support Worker to work with a lady who requires assistance with day-to-day activities, enabling her to maintain an independent and fulfilling life.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing personal care, household support, and social interaction, as well as undertaking activities to enhance the employer's quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing hygienic clean, personal care, changing bedding and some laundry
- Supporting with household paperwork, correspondence
- Assisting with management of employer's health risks
- Establishing and maintaining effective communication
- Maintaining confidentiality
Requirements:
- Experience of providing personal care
- Driver required, with access to motor vehicle (mileage paid)
- Good sense of humour
- Patient
- Ability to understand and deliver the needs of the employer
- Flexible, reliable and honest
- Good general fitness
- An enhanced DBS check will be required
- Female and car driver is essential
Salary and Benefits:
£11.50 per hour, 15 hours per week, £172.50 per week. A competitive salary and benefits package will be offered to the successful candidate.
