Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Social Services Professional to join our team. As a key member of our social work department, you will play a vital role in delivering justice and promoting social inclusion within our community.

Key Responsibilities

  • To assess and analyze information to identify goals, focus of intervention, and appropriate resources.
  • To implement and review case management plans, monitor progress, and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions.
  • To communicate effectively with service users, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and support.
  • To work sensitively with diversity and promote an anti-discriminatory approach in all aspects of your work.

Requirements

  • Relevant qualifications in social work or a related field.
  • Experience in delivering social work services, particularly in a justice setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work flexibly, including occasional evenings and weekends.

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary of £23.90 - £25.13 per hour, equating to an annual salary of £43,000 - £45,000.
  • A comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme and annual leave.
  • The opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment.

Additional Information

Applicants whose qualification award is pending within the next 6 months are welcome to apply. If successful, the initial placement will be at Level 8, until your qualification is awarded. The successful candidate will be required to work flexibly between home and the office and the frequency for attending the office may vary depending on the exigencies of the service. This post is considered to be Regulated Work protected adults as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act. The preferred candidate will be required to become a member of the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme Update if already a Scheme Member, prior to any formal offer of employment being made.
