Job Title: Nurse - Tracheotomy & Ventilator Experience Essential

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Dolphin Care, a specialist provider of nursing and rehabilitation services to clients with acquired brain injury and neurological conditions.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our clients, including those with tracheotomy and ventilator dependencies. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the smooth delivery of care and support, promoting independence and choice for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert nursing care to clients with tracheotomy and ventilator dependencies
  • Lead and supervise a team of support staff to ensure the efficient management of care
  • Assess, prioritize, plan, delegate, and monitor work activities of the support team
  • Ensure the implementation of safeguarding responsibilities in line with our organization's policies and procedures
Person Specification:

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • A current registration with the NMC
  • Thorough and up-to-date knowledge of nursing theory and best practice at the level of a qualified nurse (level 5)
  • Effective nursing practice in all basic registered nurse procedures
  • Understanding of the NMC code of conduct and relevant practice standards and guidance
  • Experience of providing direct personal and social support, with prior experience of working with people who have physical disabilities an advantage
What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary of £23.10 per hour, with the opportunity to work a range of hours, including 24-42 hours per week.
