Job Description

We are seeking a Junior Mathematical Modeller to join our team at White Swan Data in London. As a Junior Mathematical Modeller, you will be responsible for designing, building, testing, and delivering data processing and automation software, and will be working within the team to prioritise business and information needs.

The ideal candidate will have industry-based experience of Python or R, or a similar programming language, and will be proficient in data generation, acquisition, storage, and manipulation. They will also be able to identify process improvement opportunities, design and implement efficient coding solutions, and work collaboratively with the team to deliver results.

This role offers a competitive salary of £38,000 - £58,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits such as annual discretionary performance bonus, 25 days holiday per annum, private health insurance, and pension plan.

BSc in mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering or other quantitative discipline is essential. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, ability to retain information, and excellent communication and collaboration skills.
