Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs? Tradewind Recruitment is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Teaching Assistants in SEND schools across Liverpool.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Early Childhood Studies, Special Educational Needs, Learning Development, or a related field, and a passion for working with children with SEND. They will provide 1:1 or small group support to children with a range of SEND, including Autism, ADHD, and moderate learning difficulties.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities, help to create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, and foster strong relationships with pupils, promoting their confidence and independence. You will also support pupils' emotional and social development, encouraging positive behaviour.

The successful candidate will be offered flexible working hours (full or part-time), a variety of placements in SEND schools across Liverpool, and competitive pay rates (£20-£25 per hour). You will also have access to professional development and training opportunities, as well as a supportive and welcoming school environment.

To be considered for this role, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, patience, empathy, and adaptability. Experience working with children (formal or informal) is desirable but not essential. You will be required to undergo relevant training and background checks (including a DBS check).
