About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and caring Teaching Assistant to join our team and support students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and academic success of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with SEND in a variety of subjects
- Work closely with teachers to understand and support assessment
- Develop effective and informed practice
- Safeguard and promote the health, safety, and welfare of children
- Develop strategies for support
Training and Qualification:
You will be offered off-the-job training, which includes a blended model of learning, coursework, training, and shadowing. On successful completion of your apprenticeship, you will be awarded the Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship.
Career Progression:
After completing your apprenticeship, you may have the opportunity to progress to a higher-level Teaching Assistant qualification (HLTA) and a postgraduate teaching qualification.
