About the Position

Pembroke College is recruiting a skilled College Maintenance Team Member to join its facilities team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to develop practical skills while contributing to the upkeep and improvement of our historic college environment.

Responsibilities

  • Execute various maintenance tasks with attention to detail, ensuring all repairs and installations meet college standards.
  • Assist in preparing event spaces and daily operations.
  • Play an active role in routine maintenance and small projects that help prevent issues and maintain the longevity of college facilities.
  • Follow health and safety protocols rigorously and contribute to a tidy, secure work environment.

About You

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual with prior experience in maintenance or a similar role. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a basic understanding of health and safety practices, and the physical capability to meet the demands of the role. A GCSE in English and Maths (Grade C/4 or higher) is also required.
