We are excited to announce the availability of a Patient Journey Coordinator position within our Shepton Mallet Ward team. This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our patients and contribute to the delivery of exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome and greet patients to the ward area, providing a warm and welcoming environment.
  • Answer the telephone, recording and delivering messages accurately and efficiently.
  • Support other members of the multidisciplinary team, contributing to the delivery of high-quality care.

In addition to these key responsibilities, the successful candidate will be expected to assist with the ordering and monitoring of stores and stock rotation, and participate in the clinical side of the role, including making beds, handling bed linen, and disposing of used linen. They will also be responsible for monitoring and recording the weight, pulse, temperature, and blood pressure of patients, and reporting any abnormalities or changes in patients' conditions immediately to a Registered Nurse.
