We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Center Operations Specialist to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). As a key member of our data center operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our data centers and providing exceptional support to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Provide 7x24 support for data center operations, including incident response and troubleshooting.
- Maintain and improve data center infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networking devices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operation of data center services.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance data center efficiency and reliability.
- Ensure compliance with data center safety and security protocols.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 1 year of experience in server and network hardware maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Basic knowledge of network cabling and operation support experience.
- Sound understanding of incident response and prioritization.
- Basic level of English in read/write and verbal communication.
Industry experience in data center operations, knowledge of data center networking, cloud computing, and continuous process improvement are highly desirable.
