Housing Support Specialist

Salary: £25,965.41 (£27,112.48 is achieved after 18 months successful performance in the role)
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Working Pattern: 2 week rolling rota including some weekends and bank holidays
Location: Ark House, Stroud, Gloucestershire
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Ark House, a supported accommodation service for young people aged 16-25 who are experiencing homelessness. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing housing-related support to our customers, helping them to achieve their goals and move forward in their lives.
The Role:
You will work closely with our customers to identify their needs and develop personalized support plans. This may involve connecting them with employability coaches and other support agencies, helping them manage their finances, and supporting them to access benefits and find permanent housing.
What You'll Need:
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills. You will also need to be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
