About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Riverside. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing housing-related support to our customers, helping them to achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide housing-related support to customers, including connecting them with employability coaches and other support agencies
  • Help customers manage their finances, sign up for benefits, and move on to more permanent housing
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, understanding their needs and goals
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a holistic approach to customer support
  • Contribute to the delivery of a housing management service, including income collection and providing customers with tenancy-related support
Requirements
  • Experience of working with vulnerable adults, including those with complex needs
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment
  • Knowledge of current benefit systems and housing-related policies
