Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Recruitment Solutions Workforce Ltd is seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out breakdowns and PPM's on a variety of equipment, including upgrading existing equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Working within a team to carry out maintenance tasks and upgrades on equipment.
  2. Welding and fabricating skills are essential for this role.
  3. Self-motivated and able to work in a team environment.
  4. Punctual and reliable with a safe and logical approach to installation and maintenance of equipment.
  5. Providing additional support to the project department as required.
  6. Ensuring safe working practices are enforced to provide and maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
  1. Experience working on pneumatic systems is highly desirable.
  2. Self-motivated and able to work in a team environment.
  3. Welding and fabricating skills are essential for this role.
  4. Ability to utilize machine shop skills such as lathes, milling equipment, drills, cutting, burning, and welding is highly desirable.
  5. Recognized apprenticeship indentures are required.
  6. NVQ Level 3 in Engineering is highly desirable.
Benefits:
  1. Shift: Monday to Friday, 3 shift pattern (Days, afternoons & nights).
  2. Salary: £36,373.39 (plus £2400 shift allowance) + Overtime (Shift manning cover and planned maintenance work).
