Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a world-leading manufacturer. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a strong focus on product quality and industry-leading standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with a team of fitters and electricians to perform breakdowns and preventative maintenance on various equipment, including conveyor systems, fillers, ovens, and automated machinery.
  2. Utilize welding and fabrication skills to support maintenance activities.
  3. Work independently and as part of a team to achieve maintenance objectives.
  4. Ensure safe working practices and maintain a safe working environment.
  5. Provide support to the project department as needed.
Requirements:
  1. Experience working on pneumatic systems.
  2. Self-motivated and able to work in a team.
  3. Welding and fabrication skills.
  4. Ability to utilize machine shop skills, including lathes, milling equipment, drills, cutting, burning, and welding.
  5. Recognized apprenticeship indentures.
  6. NVQ Level 3 in Engineering.
