We are seeking an undergraduate student to join our Sensory Insights team in Southampton, UK, for a 12-month placement. As an Undergraduate Intern, you will contribute to the development of new sensory methodologies to test products within the Wellness and Stimulation category.

About the Role

As a member of our Sensory Insights team, you will be responsible for scoping, planning, and executing projects related to the development of new sensory methodologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive the project forward and ensure data quality through checks and assessments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement new sensory methodologies to test products within the Wellness and Stimulation category.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to drive the project forward and ensure data quality.
  • Provide high-quality presentations on project scope, progress, and outputs.
  • Write reports on method outputs, issue recommendations, and discuss next steps and future applications.

Requirements

  • Currently working towards an undergraduate degree in psychology, applied mathematics, food technology, or marketing (or a related subject).
  • Self-motivated, proactive, with good time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent presentation and analytical skills.
  • Collaborative and positive attitude, with the ability to communicate with both specialist and non-specialist audiences.
