Role Description

The successful Mechanical Services Supervisor will be responsible for managing the installation and maintenance of mechanical systems, ensuring high-quality work and timely completion. This role requires a deep understanding of building maintenance and mechanical installations, as well as excellent leadership skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.


Responsibilities and Requirements
  • Supervise the installation and maintenance of mechanical systems, ensuring high-quality work and timely completion.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies, collaborating with departments to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Provide expert guidance on equipment, materials, and procedures, serving as a key point of contact for technical queries and issues.
  • Manage inventory levels, ordering spare parts and equipment as needed, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Proven experience and knowledge of building maintenance and mechanical installations, including AHUs and FCUs.
  • City and Guilds Domestic Plumbing and Heating qualifications, including Level 1 and 2, and Advanced Level 3.
  • Commercial gas qualifications, such as CoDNCO1, TPCP, ICPN1, CDGA1, and CCCN1.
  • Strong working knowledge of gas appliances and being Gas Safe certified.
  • Able to produce clear, concise written reports, plans, and operational procedures using Microsoft Office software.
