About the Role


We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Electrical Engineer to join our team at Txm Recruit Ltd. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with experience in building services and maintenance.


Responsibilities


• Provide maintenance support, including installation, planned, preventive, and reactive maintenance, related to site services and plant/equipment.


• Carry out testing, inspection & certification of distribution boards and fixed wiring installations.


• Participate in the on-call rota within the Maintenance Team.


• Work on a seasonal shift pattern, including some weekends and evenings.


• Oversee contractors on site, monitoring the implementation and performance of tasks allocated.


• Deliver specialist technical support and services concerning building plant/equipment.


• Demonstrate knowledge of plant room electrical services, including motors, pumps, FCU, etc.


Requirements


• Engineering/Technical qualification (Apprenticeship or NVQ 3 in relevant discipline, e.g., Electrical)


• Ability to write reports/job sheets manually or electronically.


• C&G 2391 Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations or equivalent qualifications.


• Experience in building services.


• Full clean UK driving licence.


• Good knowledge and competency in other areas of building services (BMS, Mechanical).


• Strong time management, organization, and planning skills.


• Highly flexible and adaptable.
